Horse hide is one of those hides that take some 'taming' to get to fit, but the more it's worn, but better it feels and fits!

Wow that almost look black, but I love anything S&J, chocolate brown :-k
And you my friend wear the jacket and hat well.
Hope to see some once it’s broken in.
How does feel, nice new leather smell I bet.

New? Actually about a year old! ;)

I got it just before it started warming up last year, so I’ve been able to get it stretched in with wear before hanging it up for the summer.

Once it took my body and shoulder shape it’s like a second skin. SUPER soft and comfortable.

The hat, by the way, is a 15 year old special grey AB that comes out in chilly weather that has been rebuilt several times by Steve Delk and then Dave Garrison to my great satisfaction.
