I have a email from Thomas stating he in fact will do a SoC in the Masterpiece line.

Hi,

thanks for your message! Yes, it's now available upon request. The only
thing you need to know is that this fedora / felt would be pre-aged, but
would have no super-fine felt surface to retain the original look of the
hat on screen and sewing of the ribbon would be different / imperfect
(for the same reason).

Best regards
Thomas

Darn it! Now I wish I'd waited and saved my pennies for a Masterpiece. Good on your for double checking! I'll look forward to seeing your SoC Masterpiece when it's ready :TOH:

Woah, I'd love to see how his masterpiece one compares, also I'm in love with his Masterpiece box.

I'm a little sad as he wasn't offering the Masterpiece in an SOC even earlier this year. I specifically asked, plus his website said "no". Just a little sad, his regular hats are great to begin with. Still, interested to hear how folks like this version when they receive theirs. :)

Did you order one, Croft? If so, what was the lead time he quoted you, out of curiosity?

Hi,
I've just read this.

You got no reply from us?
Very strange.

First, we apologize for this inconvenience.
We don't know what happened.

How did you try to reach us?
email, messenger??

Please, let us know.
Thanks.-
It was an email a while back, but I appreciate your response! I may still check out one of your Indy hats as I really liked what I saw for the raiders options on your Facebook. I’ll have to look back at the email for which one I requested but I think it was the distressed raiders you posted

Awesome! Can't wait to see. Did you go with the distressed or clean?

thecoolmeister and I were chatting about how hat texture and floppiness compares across vendor offerings, so I made a quick video of my S&J Explorador '36 Superior "Raven Bar" fedora to help convey the finish and feel of the hat. It's been well worn, hence the sweat stains on the ribbon, dust etc, and I removed the liner because I run hot and live in SoCal, and Ford did too so why not?

Anyway, I hope this helps for anyone who has ever wondered... :TOH:
