Alternative knife (close enough)
I did a quick (but not exhaustive) search and didn't see this listed anywhere, so apologies if someone else brought it up. I was looking for an alternative to the Linder pocketknife. This one looks pretty close and is about half the cost- https://www.mercurycut.it/en/product/50 ... blade.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I really liked the look of that, but in my head canon I'd think as an old Life Scout, Indy would have a multi use knife around. I opted for this which just arrived today. I can get some pics of the actual product later, but I'm really liking how this looks...

Re: Alternative knife (close enough)
I came across this knife while searching online for a sheath for my Linder 312111. It's a beauty, but pricey and a tad smaller than the Linder. I'm sure it's still a pretty good option.

Boker is a great brand too!
Re: Alternative knife (close enough)
Here is a budget variant I found, a Mikov Fixir with plastic handle. It seems to be easier to find here in Europe than in the states.

Another is the Hubertus, lthough the price has gone up quite a bit:

Yes, agreed, that looks great. I haven't found an importer who'll ship one to where I live so settled for the Mercury as I could actually get my hands on one! But the Hubertus looks fantastic.
