Have you tried Christys?

I don't know if they have a service department or not, but you could drop them a line and ask. :-k

Locks DOES have a department. You could check them out too!

Lock’s is a good call. I have one of their straw hats. I heard once their felt hats are made in the same factory as Chrissy, but I don’t know if it’s true. Ironically, living near Manchester, there’s a hat museum in Stockport not too far away. Also Failsworth hats in Manchester. No real hat makers locally, though, for this kind of thing.

Getting things in and out of country is pretty much at a stand still now if you use USPS due to the pandemic.
You have no clue if or even when it would reach Marc, let alone if they'd do anything with it.

Good luck, and let us know how your hat turns out!

Getting in Touch with Marc

Don’t think it’s been “officially” called, but the fact that he’s been MIA for quite some time, it’s probably a pretty safe bet.
I suppose we really should get a final word on this..

I agree. This seems to pop up every other month or so... I mean at this point I'm not sure why anyone still has questions on this. This is nothing new and hasn't been for years.

I wish Marc well and hope whatever he's going through will pass but to think he's still a viable retailer for Indy hats past purchase or present is probably a pipe dream at this point.

I last spoke with Marc just a couple of months ago. He said he was officially done making hats. Never again. He had some personal issues a few years ago and he had to move on with his life and go in a different direction. With that said, he is happy in his new life so I wish him all the best.

Well that’s good to hear, I wish him all the best. Only thing, I hope he updates the website one last time.
