Very good, thanks for posting. I'd never seen that before, really gives a great sense of the number of steps, the care needed and I loved those machines. I'll look at my Fed IV with new eyes

Reminds me of Mr. Rogers who did segments on how things were made long before the History channel did it. Interesting to see how my hat was made!

Amazing to see them making those felt bodies from scratch, but of course, it is all in house since they are making such a large volume. Also, they source their rabbit fur from Europe, not Australian hares... And, that's a lot of bunnies
Pretty long process to produce a hat from scratch. Makes you appreciate the fact that you can pick one up for just about $150 or less. Seems like a bargain considering the labor that goes into producing one of these.
