Second Bullwhip

Post by IJJTM »

Hello everyone, I would like some whip advice/suggestions. Currently my only whip experience is a 10 foot Todd's whip, which has been nice, but I felt as though it was lacking. Now I am looking to buy a new whip and I've been stuck on whether I should go with Trinity Whip Co, or Del Carpio Whips for my next whip. I wanted to know between the two of them who you all believe makes a better Raiders whip, or if you guys think someone else makes a better one, suggestions would be appreciated.

They both make extremely good quality whips, but in my research, if you're going for accuracy, go with Del Carpio. He was trained by David Morgan, and he will make whips in the way Morgan made them in the early 80s, which they will no longer do.

I have no first hand experience with Trinity so I can't offer an opinion on their whips, but I do know Del Carpio makes flawless whips that are both excellent in terms of function and extremely screen acurate! I've owned two - and that was a while ago - and he seems to have improved even more since then. If I wasn't able to make my own, I would order another of his.
