Someone is selling a gun claiming its the real BAPTY gun on gunbroker. They want 5 million for it. Can anyone in the know tell me if this is legit.

If I recall, the last time it came out of storage for sale, it didn't meet the reserve and went back under cover.

That's it. Is this the real deal? It's certainly not worth 5 million. Wasn't aware it had gone back up for sale since the last time.

It's definitely the real deal and its the same one that Propstore recently auctioned - going by the marks and scratches on the L/H butt section

Heard back from the Cow member that owned it. Apparently he sold it and the new owner is auctioning it off again.

$5 million is insane.

The super-stylish Aston Martin DB5 driven by Sean Connery as James Bond in the films Goldfinger (1964) and Thunderball (1965) sold at auction in 2010 for $4.6 million.

And the Bapty has been deactivated.

These are some of the best photos of the custom front sight that've been available to date. I agonized over less clear photos to get the details right, such as the number of serrations, and contour of the tip... and am glad to see them confirmed in these super detailed photos!
