Well, yes and no.
He was able to source a certain amount of each leather, took pre-orders to determine sizes needed to fill those orders, then added several of each size to create a limited inventory for regular orders. Those will be sold until they run out of inventory.
The original plan was to re-order another limited number (as the leather available is VERY limited and sourced out of France), once the first group in inventory was sold out.
With the acquisition of this cape buffalo hide (sourced out of South Africa), that won't happen now.
Once the charcoal lambskin and russet cowhide is sold out, that will be it, so if you're on the fence, don't hesitate or you'll miss out completely.
That's what happened with the kangaroo hide Indy's too. That leather source dried up (and that was REALLY limited!), and once the last 4 sold out of inventory (I don't know if those are gone), that's it for 'roo hide Indy jackets from Wings.
Same thing happened with the '50 mission' cowhide Indy's, the vintage goatskin Indy's, etc. I've seen a LOT of versions come and go and never come back in the past 30 years!
Hopefully this new cape buffalo will last a bit longer, as it looks fantastic!
That's how I understand things stand, but like I said, drop David a line to confirm.
Regards! M
