Those are the ones I'm after.
Want to see how they measure against my Wested Hero.
I typically wear size 40

a doubt regarding back length. I'm about to order a BK in a size 42R. all measures are adjusted correctly but I have the doubt with the back length, I measure 182cm which is equivalent to 6ft I think !, the length in BK is 23.5 inches, I have a Wested that I just put on sale with 24 inches long back and I do not know if the BK would adjust correctly. Any advice with this?

The BK and Wested Hero are cut differently. I am 6 ft 4in and on the OTR Wested jackets wear a 28 inch back. The BK with the shorter back measurement still fits pretty much the same on me.

I've been reading that the BK is cut different from Wested, but as I had reference the Wested and a Californias Venture that has the same length, I had my doubts

Just sent my Relic Hunter back for repairs: from the USA it's ~$70 shipping. The return shipping will be £35. I must say that the price Andy quoted me for replacing the sleeve struck me as pretty reasonable. It's annoying to be sending it in for repairs, but at least BK is pretty reasonable in what they charge to do it.

Will do. And I'll be sure to check the jacket when I take it off, to make sure they didn't stage a sneak attack.

Mine took 8 weeks. Worth the wait. It'll arrive just in time for winter. (unless you live in Australia).

They're pretty good at sticking with a two-month wait time (though there are exceptions for leather types that aren't in-stock).

Are these jackets going to be available in alternate leathers at some point, or is it lambskin and cowhide all the way?
Speaking as someone who has one of the Nowak Indy 4 jackets, the leather looks spot on, btw. Lack of distressing aside, it could easily be mistaken for my jacket.

"Just when I think I'm out ... they pull me back in..."
May be selling my Relic striated lamb to get the Holy Grail.
What is the leather like in comparison Andy and if I wear a 40 Relic should I buy a 40 Grail ?

It's very different than the Relic Hunter.
Yes, if 40 is your size in Relic should get same for the Grail.

It looks like it ages differently when it comes to the undertone.
Is this accurate?

Limited edition, makes it extra tempting. I've ordered a Holy Grail jacket though.

They are! Everything about them feels "right." And later this month (hopefully), I'm going to be receiving a second one - this time one of their A-2s.

Yep! They’re a Greek company, owned by an American ex-pat. As I recall, they use the pound because they’re worried about people holding it against them that they’re from Greece.
Orl, I got a similar message last week. I’m still waiting for BK to post the list.

Any member of this forum who has ordered a Relic Hunter has had news of BK. I ordered mine on September 14 and as a comment here I sent an email to know the status of my order and I commented that I would put a list on Facebook. about two weeks ago and I still have not seen anything.

Hi Orl - I ordered a jacket at the beginning of August and am in the same boat as you. I got an email from BK today basically telling me to sit tight and that they’d update me on how it was progressing soon. My recommendation is to hang in there. I know the wait can be infuriating, but it absolutely will be worth it when that jacket arrives.

Ha and I thought my wait for a grail diary was bad. Almost been a full year. BK will deliver and like Mulceber mentioned. It WILL be worth it. BK is leaps beyond a lot of vendors.

I gotcha. Yeah Andy is either quick or it takes a few days. No doubt the days he is not quick is due to his busy schedule. Man. Remember the snail mail days? How did we ever survive.
