Here is an update on my S&J LC jacket. It's about 2 years old now and I love it.

Penman Raiders hat.

I don't get to wear it that much because it does not get very cold here. (Taking pics by one's self is hard, about the best I can do).

That’s a great looking jacket! What kind of leather was this, the Merino sheep, or cowhide, or something else?

Nice jacket. How come you only wear it when it gets cold. Indy wore his in the jungle.

Is there anyone with a actual order at Steele & Jones? It would be interesting to know where on their order list there are working at the moment... ;)

Mine is #145

If I don't have any delay, your jacket goes for assembly on june 30th.
It'll be ready on july 7th.

Diego just sent me a few photos of my new 'slim fit' LC Jacket! Should have it in a few weeks now.

The distressing on these jackets is just unbelievable.

The jacket arrived this morning just before I left for work so I brought it with me. I am VERY happy! I was nervous about the fit since this is my second jacket and for this jacket I wanted more of a slim fit. With lots of back and forth with Diego we agreed on a size 36 (down from 40 on my first jacket) and I extended the body and sleeves a little too. I think it turned out great, and once again Diego worked his magic with the amazing distressing.

Just a couple pics I snapped at work, will see how it looks with all the gear later today.

I just wanted a jacket I could wear every day with slimmer pants, but that would still be proportionate to the SA jacket. I think Diego did a great job translating this vision and once again I highly recommend Steele & Jones for the best Last Crusade jacket out there.

Cheers!

Hi!

Cost is USD 400.- (US dollars) + shipping
(includes the most screen-accurate hand distressing. Done PRIOR to sewing, so no thread is compromised :TOH: )

But, for returning customers there is a 10% discount
AND....for 2nd and more times returning customer, 15% discount!

This has been like this for years.

Cheers.-

Diego,

How are the LC jackets coming along these days?

What is the current leather look like to make a distressed LC jacket as close to looking as the Smithsonian jacket you guys got to look at?

Discounts for returning customers?

Hi Chad

We have the horsehide skin, which IMO, is the best garment leather....ever.
We also have lambskin.

You must choose...

Returning customer (1 previous order with us)
10% discount

Repeat customer (2 or more previous orders)
15% discount

Cheers.-

What leather that you use is most similar to that of the LC Smithsonian jacket? Horsehide or lambskin?

Hi guys, I'm attaching some of the images of my jacket coming on the way. The pics have been taken by Diego, the first ones with natural sunlight, and the lastest on cloudy day with camera flash.
I want to feel the horsehide leather in person, have never been able to appreciate it in my hands, but I trust Diego and Roberto, who convinced me to make sure that itś a leather of optimum quality.
Thanks to Diego for his patience and good work, a thousand thanks also to Roberto, colleagues from IndianaJones.es, whom I have known for years.
The order was an LC jacket with leather facings and no distressed.
Natural sunlight.

I have had and still have many Indy jackets from many makers.

I have to say, I like my S&J jackets more than another maker that costs more. S&J gets the fit better than any other Indy Jackets I own.
