Indiana Jones Stunt Show Bullwhip
Went last week to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show in Orlando and here is the whip in the gift shop that is 4ft long and only 75.00
Re: Indiana Jones Stuns Show Bullwhip
This actually makes me kind of sad for a host of reasons.
Re: Indiana Jones Stuns Show Bullwhip
It breaks the heart and the wallet.

Indyfan, I could not agree more with you however, people are buying the merchandise at Disney so there is little incentive for them to add a higher priced item at their cost to their offered wares.
I once had a nice chat from a somebody at Disney on why they increased their ticket price each year. "Because people still pay the price". In other words, Disney is not hurting for sales so the same holds true for what they offer to the customer after seeing the stunt show.

Agreed. Also remember that they're not pitching this stuff to us. Their target customer is someone who's maybe seen the movies, just got done watching the stunt show, and wants a souvenir.Jeremiah wrote:Indyfan, I could not agree more with you however, people are buying the merchandise at Disney so there is little incentive for them to add a higher priced item at their cost to their offered wares.

It seems like Star Wars fans get cooler toys and collectibles. I’m a DL passholder and they get top quality really cool stuff and we get a dollar store whip. Smh

Re: Indiana Jones Stuns Show Bullwhip
yeah, now let us not mention the new trailer for The Last Jedi.
Re: Indiana Jones Stuns Show Bullwhip
Also, that noodle of a craft project looks entirely harmless, which may be another motive explaining why Disney chose to sell it...

Saddest thing is there are a million "costume grade" whips available at a fraction of that price. Beyond the Indy connection, whips that look like whips.

In the past, Indy had it's own store. Now it's overflow table seating.

Dude I made my own whip out of paracord and it was like the same price!
Re: Indiana Jones Stunt Show Bullwhip
That's crazy!! That has to be a typo or something! I thought they were like $20, but I never looked at the price. I'll have to check while I'm at Disneyland tomorrow [and will likely be horrified].bookman60 wrote:and only 75.00
EDIT: They're 47.99 at Disneyland. That's 46.99 over what I would pay for them!
