Have just seen these gloves on eBay, American-made, bison leather. They have the look of the Wells Lamonts used on screen but with a more accurate colour and without the palm panel of the current WLs.
Has anyone tried these / what do you think?

Re: Gloves on eBay
The WL 1130 have the palm patch unless these are NOS.
See this listing for 1130s. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-Grain-Co ... 2469045194" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I like the look of those bison gloves.

Those I listed don't have the palm patch. I've bought from him myself and they are new/old stock.

Re: Gloves on eBay
Thanks all,
good alternatives. I hadn't seen any of the lighter Wls without the palm patch.
The postage seems very steep for all the options, given how light they are.
I fancy trying the buffalo so will report back .

Re: Gloves on eBay
Both look like good options.
The key features to look for are double-straight line shirring, straight (versus keystone) thumb, and no palm patch. As far as the color goes, even the screen-used Raiders glove looked that way new.
