Another bites the dust!
Thanks to VERY positive reviews on this site (and others), especially indiana tako's review and video, I've taken the plunge and purchased my first real Indy jacket: a Steele & Jones LC Jacket (Pre-Distressed Horsehide).
I will keep you all updated as to Diego's progress, but I am VERY excited to say the least.

I'm about to do the same. Want a S&J really bad. Can't resist much longer.

Congratulations! You will be VERY happy. I'm itching for one of those, myself. I have a Raiders from them and it's incredible.

You'll be extremely satisfied with your jacket. I got the same jacket and hide last November if I remember correctly. The attention to detail S&j have is bar none. And it's cool to know that their fans of Indiana Jones. Enjoy your jacket when it arrives!

I feel much more confident in what I'm getting when they are fans. I really liked Wested's operation and their history with the films, but it screamed "production line" to me. Every jacket looked the same. And while that's half the point, seeing #XX on the S&J really screams authentic to me. And cared for.

Congrats temple_runner! A wise investment. I have a LC S&J on the way too. Hoping to get it any time now, but seems Diego is a bit backlogged. I'm very sure it will be well worth the wait. Roberto also told me he will be finishing my LC Fedora this weekend so that's very exciting. For Last Crusade gear I think these guys have it down!

Some of you may have seen that I was inquiring about thoughts on the Wested Super Combo, which contains all the missing gear in my costume. However, after thinking on it, I figured, if I'm spending $500 bucks, I mine as well buy something worth the money and something I will literally wear every day for the rest of my life (weather permitting). Instead of simply having a "complete" collection that has some sub-par items in it.

Excellent decision, my friend!
Though the 'package' would serve you well, the question is what are you really wanting. I think you figured it out. It's ALWAYS an investment, so make it a good one.
Bravo!
