I proudly wear my Wested and Alden's, but I have never found a shirt that was comfortable, fit nicely and that I could wear to the office without ffeling like I was wearing a costume. (My WPG shirt was stiff, uncomfortable, shrank to the point where it looked terrible, and always felt like I was wearing a costume).
Today I picked up what I consider an "Indy inspired" shirt because its nowhere near SA, but it is a closeish color and does have two pockets and I bet if you wore it with the rest of your gear most people would think you looked just like Dr. Jones. Its cotton-linen mix so its going to be a comfortable late spring/summer shirt. Its 50% off at the Gap: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?vi ... =723983022" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Cheers!
P.S. Feel free to point me to an Indy shirt that is made of nice, comfortable material that doesn't cost a fortune (I'm looking at you, Mangnoli). Todd's? Wested?

Re: Indy inspired cooton-linen shirt
I have a Magnoli and a Todd's. Both are about as comfortable as you'd expect any average cotton button shirt to be, and you couldn't go wrong with either one. They don't see a ton of use because I wear a Fedora most days and fedora + tan button shirt = Indy. They're very nice shirts though.

Re: Indy inspired cotton-linen shirt
That Gap shirt is a great close-enough.
I had a Todd's shirt for years and found it to be comfortable. They are cut somewhat more narrow in the body to match the fit of the film shirts.

Indiana Jeff
