Brand Spankin' new Wested w/ comparison to 6 yr old Lamb
My Wested arrived yesterday after placing the order only 2 weeks ago. Talk about fast! And it is just what I asked for. They incorporated everything with the exception of the 2 piece gussets ( they're only 1 piece). But I could care less. It is AMAZING!.
The difference between my new Goat and my 6 year old Lamb is really interesting. Note the extra British flag label on my older Lamb.
Here's what I asked for:
1) Auth. Goat Raiders version
2) back panel to fully extend to sides
3) side straps to have X-BOX pattern (Bill Gates will be sueing us soon for this)
4) shoulder seam 8" as compared to 6.85" listed on sit for size 44
5) sleeves a bit longer than my lamb (1/2")
6) Aluminum zip extending to bottom
7) Black sliders
on my Lamb the inside pocket was on the inside right breast (why I don't know). It has been switched to the left
9) Cotton body/ satin sleeves (Lamb is all cotton)
10) Back panel to connect higher than sleeve attachment
The action pleats are now much deeper than previous. Extending the back panel helps this and also helps them keep their shape instead of being open.
For some reason they have stitched the back panel to the side panel underneath the side strap attachment. I want to snip this but don't want it coming undone if it's all the same stitching. I'm going to ask Peter why this is done and if cutting it open will do anything negative to the rest of the stitching. The back pael at the bottom should be free to open. See pics close up at side straps.
Here is the main link to all the pics:

Here's a side by side with the new Goat on the left.

Here is the back panel difference. 1st one is the Goat, 2nd is the Lamb.

Old side strap. Note the place of attachment at the hand warmer pockets.

Will be revising this in a bit to add more pics.
I can't seem to get just the pics to show up in the post. Can only get links. Why is that?

Yeah, they don't. You have to drag the URL up to your browser's URL 'Address' for them to appear. It would be better not to have it end in .jpg and just post the URL where the pix reside.
Looks like it's all fixed now!

On my ToD auth. goat the panel was extended without asking for it. Maybe this is standard on the Temple jacket :

Now I see about the back panel, that explains a lot. I think Peter does this now on his standard jackets, as my jacket has it and I didn't request it.
Also, you can cut those stitches between the back flap and the side panels, I have and I actually think it hangs better, and Peter says it doesn't weaken any part of the jacket.

Very nice jackets! My Auth Lamb has the back panel all the way out to the
sleeves. I think that Peter does indeed do this now as standard, as I did not
ask for it on my jacket, but it came that way anyway.
Its amazing to me how in pictures, the Auth lamb and goat look alike in
color and drape. If you put my lamb and your goat side by side, I bet
you would not be able to tell them apart just by looking at them. Thats
how good the color matches. Now as soon as you picked them up, well,
thats a different story...

Looks like Peter has fixed a few things. The most noticeable being that it seems he now has directed his staff to make sure the back yoke seam does indeed place it 1" higher than the seam that runs up the sleeve to the shoulder seam.
A very fine looking jacket sir. The goat hide looks very nice.
