German company Ed Meier to have Alden #405's in September

Post by Swindiana »

I got the info from http://www.aldenshoe.com and emailed the company named Ed Meier in Germany regarding Indy boots after getting the tip from a Norwegian dealer.
This is the reply I got:
...there is a good chance that we will get the Indi-Boot this fall - would you please contact us again beginning of September?
Yours sincerely
Beste Grüße

Peter Eduard Meier

I'll stay in touch with them to see what happens.

Sounds great to me! Will make it easier for me to pick up a pair! As long as they have them in my size. :?

That's indeed great news for Euro-gearheads. Hopefully, Herr Meier receives enough e-mails from us to convince him to stock up for this fall...

What would the cost be for a pair from Germany? The total from aldenshop.com to Sweden is $305 (incl. UPS international delivery).

I'm not sure on the cost yet. I sent him a reply again with some more info about us Europeans and hopefully I'll get a reply soon.

Great, now Euro-gearheads don't have to care about the customs! I had to pay 28 bucks customs for my Akubra .
