Need some help with finding a affordable last crusade whip

Blake Bruning of trinitywhipco.com - not only is he turning out some fine looking whips, but I think he may have a few for sale on his "in stock" page...

If you're not married to kangaroo, these are excellent whips. Looks like Dusty has stopped taking orders for the moment though.

But if you have a low budget, a costume whip is a lot cheaper.

Todds or Magnoli sells some costume whips that would work.

Maybe we should've asked that first: are you looking for an affordable real bullwhip? Or just a costume piece? Huge difference in price, however a quality roo whip will last a lifetime if properly cared for...

well from trinity whip you'r looking atleast for a 5-600 dollar. It seems they have one LC style whip that's 8'

I'd also look at Joe Strain Whips.

Westernstageprops.com is also selling them for around 800 or so

A David Morgan that was used in the first three films for a 10' whip cost $1000 but the quality might be lacking now.

As Tyrloch said, what do you want and what is your budget. roo hide or cow? 8' or 10'? 12 plait or 16 plait?

Definitely shop around and research. Also, the search function is your friend, there's years of research and information on this site just sitting there for the taking. Either way you're looking at 500-1000 bucks, unless you can find a good deal on eBay, etc.

I will also add that a well made whip by a reputable and well recieve maker is an investment and you should be able to get close to want you paid for resale value of you keep it in good condition.
I have had whips made by Delcarpio, strain, Trinity whip co., Terry Jacka and Midwest whips.
Sold most of those but got to handle them and try them all out.

I have discovered I am a one whip kind of guy. Ha.

One more question, which LC whip? The black and red young Indy whip or the "regular" adult Indy whip?

If you want a Morgan whip, Wade Egan has one for sale in bazaar I think.

Bang for the buck, Dusty at Crease n Corral makes a great whip from cow, I think it has a steel cable core so it is strong but keeps the cost down. I have one and I love it.

Going for roo will increase the price but when you crack one it is pretty amazing.

If you don't mind the lighter Raiders tan, a Caicedo is a terrific real budget whip. They run $260 for an 8ft, and $300 for a 10ft. I love mine, and it cracks real nice. It's not a kangaroo, but it's 1/3 of the price!

Emanuele of lelecwhips makes both roo and kip hide whips. They are excellent and very affordable! You will not be dissapointed

Looks like prices for Victor Tella (Snakewhip.com) are very reasonable as well for a roo whip. Have not had any experience with his work though.

I'm in a similar boat. I do have a dark brown Roo bullwhip, but its not a true Indy. I would like to own something that LOOKS more authentic and can still have fun with it.
