This gentleman on Instagram got a close up look at the archives in the Smithsonian. The hat, Jacket and some props.
I didn't know where to post this so here goes. Just scroll down a bit. Maybe he is a member here and can shed some light on how he got a chance to take a look.

Awesome stuff! The man certainly gets around. He's very fortunate to get that private viewing of the screen used items. At one time about a year or so back he talked of producing a LC jacket. Hopefully he's getting closer to it.
Thanks for the share btw. Lotta good stuff in their besides the IJ related things.

Love the picture of the jacket and grail diary! It really shows how close Wested's Authentic Lamb is to the leather on the original LC jacket. Now if only Wested wouldn't mess with requests... Thanks again for the link.

Do they take requests now? They ignored all but one or two of my requested specs for a custom jacket a couple years back. I ended up getting an off the rack that was closer to what I wanted.Photoss wrote:Love the picture of the jacket and grail diary!
