A little review on my S&J experience to date...

Post by wdsmkc »

Based on what I read in here, it seemed to me that S&J was the way to go. This after ALMOST giving up following a bad experience with Wested. I emailed Diego, & folks.... if you've heard on here that he's good about communication, let me say for the record.... that is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the century. He's amazing. It's clear the passion he puts into these jackets and the enthusiasm he has for each new order. His constant communication has me feeling completely immersed in the creation of MY Indy jacket which makes it feel all the more special and has me 10 times more hyped to get it than I thought possible. I have yet to read a review in here about his work & customer service that wasn't 100% positive. If someone out there makes a jacket better & cheaper.... go with S&J anyway. Your level of involvement in your jacket & the enthusiasm he shows for it will have you enjoying it more than you would a jacket from any other company. I LITERALLY cannot say enough good things about the experience thus far.

Glad to hear good things from S&J continue.

I hope your jacket is all that you want it to be, and I am sure it will be from Diego.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
We really enjoy the process, and even more the happiness of a fellow indy fan. :whip:
Kind regards.-

Agree. Always quick and easy communication, updates and clarififications. Best personalized CS of any company I can think of.

And that's just the thing.... literally ANY company I can think of. Not just companies related to Indy gear.

I must agree he just emailed me today with pictures and measurements of my jacket. It looks great and if that is any indication I am sure it will fit great too. He is going to ship it Friday as soon as I get it I will post some pictures its a RoA made in thin cowhide.

True story. I've said before and I'll say again, S&J has it going on, on all fronts. I will be buying from them again in the future.

Can you put up a couple of the pics Diego sent you? I almost went with the thin cowhide, and am curious what it looks like. Thanks!

I've always been satisfied with the guys south of the border. Their attention to detail is simply remarkable! I thought I was persnickity until I met those fellas. :TOH:

Wow, another gorgeous jacket from S&J. Man, I wish I had a lot more disposable income.

I ordered my S&J Cazadora 36 in Ribby Merino Sheepskin ( they only had so many skins left at the time) in Feb/Mar '15 and I received my jacket in Summer 2015, beautiful jacket !! They told me to stick with the dimensions of the original jacket ( per my size 5'7", Ford has a few inches on me .. but same hat size!) and that their jacket would fit me correctly, they did not disappoint ! It's lightweight, very flexible, well made, exceptional. The only thing was I felt the jacket was not that grey/brown color of the Raiders jacket and more of a dark chocolate but depending on light source and reference photos/BluRays etc. .. I love it !! I Would recommend. :TOH:
