How's Wested new Indy shirt?

Post by indyfan1234 »

I had heard they redid the Indy shirt they offer to be more accurate color and fabric wise in 2016. Does anyone have one of the new shirts? And have opinions on it? From pics I see on Instagram it seems to be the more stone color now. I have a todds but I don't like how thick his last batch was and that they are still too short. Any thoughts or pics would be appreciated

Received one from my parents as a birthday gift. This is it on the left, right is a Noel Howard shirt.

It's a nice shirt, especially for the price. :TOH:

The one I got last year was pretty great. Besides some slight shrinkage, it has performed much better than expected.

Would you say the color is correct that it's now the right stone color?

Now that looks like an improvement from the yellow cream, shirt they used to offer.

Yea that's what worries me and I read on the site it was made screen accurate in 2016 with the help of Indygear.com so just wanted to know what the new ones looked like before I ordered one.

It looks pretty good to me. That's why I purposefully put it next to my Last Crusade Noel Howard, to show that it is slightly lighter.

The buttons do seem very light to me, but that might be my own personal preference.

Okay o might have to order one then. How is the fit on those? I'm about 42 chest. Are they made right exact size or they built with some room or should order 44? I remember someone saying they were a little tight

Unfortunately they don't have very specific sizes. They just go with the s-M-L-XL stuff...

I usually wear a 40R and I have an M here that fits me fine.

Hmmmm okay if you are size 40 and the medium is (42) I should probably go with a large (44) then. I have a big upper chest so a 44 hopefully should do

Probably your best bet, yeah. It's okay to have it a little loose for comfort.

I'm a 46 and the XL is sometimes comfy, sometimes tight (depending on how much I've eaten that day :#: )I'd size up, and allow it to do it's minor shrinkage.

Okay thank you. It's weird how different shirt comapanies are. I normally wear xl on regular t-shirts. Granted that's American compared to the U.K. So I think I will get a large (44) I'm wearing a xl in todds but I know his ran smaller. But the last cut of todds seemed off. Way too thick and heavy and it seemed very wide then previous ones. So looks off on me and baggy. Also too short.
