Hello all. I just purchased a Wested hero in the new dark goatskin from a fellow memeber here and I must say it's my first Wested and I love it. It's size 44 and I'm normally a 42 but it fits me perfectly. (Glad I didn't order one myself because it was going to be 42) does the hero have a slimmer fit? Doesn't appear to have any extra room in it. It's still brand new still has that new leather smell. Wish that smell would always stay with it.

Re: Wested hero goat second hand
I have had 2-Wested Hero jackets and they are a strange fit. If I had ordered my normal suit size, I think the Hero jackets would not have fit well.
Their off the rack jackets are a normal fit for me. I ordered one size up on the Wested jackets I have as I like a relaxed fit and am broad across the chest with bigger upper arms.

So basically a good idea for anyone interested in the hero is to order one size up on the chest?Glenville86 wrote:I have had 2-Wested Hero jackets and they are a strange fit. If I had ordered my normal suit size, I think the Hero jackets would not have fit well.

I suppose it would depend on body type and the way you want the jacket to fit. Some folks like the form fitting jackets. If you are a slender build, I think a person could order their normal suit size in the Hero.
This is just my opinion and more folks who have owned the Hero jacket will chime in. The Hero is not a normal fitting jacket. For me, even going a size up, it is more snug fit in the shoulders, pits, and upper arms than my other Wested jackets in the same size.

Re: Wested hero goat second hand
I originally was going to order one in shrunken lamb but couldn't pass up on the offer here and now I'm in love with the dark drown goat. It has the color of the Cairo scenes (plane fight and truck chase) where as the lamb I feel is the idol temple scenes color. In my opinion that is. But I am glad it was a 44 as the 42 would not fit. I guess I do have big shoulders and didn't realize.kozmoedave wrote:Fantastic. I've been considering a Hero in goat...
