It's selling for around $85 on Ebay. Should I avoid?

I would go for it. What do you have to lose?
Turn it on the bazaar should you not like it. Bet you could get 75% back at least no hassle.

Of course I do know nothing about this jacket so maybe not.

I think that's the Lottery jacket. If you do a search for "lottery" you should find lots of posts on it. The pattern is very similar to some of the old Cooper/Wings jackets they sold at Disney parks a decade ago (though Wings claimed they did not make the lotto jackets). I personally dislike it, but if you like the light-coloured pre-distressed look, it's pretty cheap.

I have one. Rarely wear it due to weather. It's fine for a jacket if you don't pay a lot for it. No idea it was going for so much.

So if you cut it up into little cubes and fry it in a skillet with some finely chopped onion, add some little sea shell shaped pasta, and mix it with undiluted tomato soup, you've got a dinner at the Ol' campsite.

Just have to deal with the complaints... "Where's my right sleeve?"
