Steele@ Jones Indy jacket for hipster ( with pics now)

Post by Drifter »

I'm not actually a hipster. I don't have a sense of entitlement or pay premium prices on clothing to only look homeless.(not all Hipsters.. but they are ruining it for the rest of you) I however like some of the styles associated with these moustache sporting dudes. I've always leaned toward jackets that were more snug fitting which is why I've had a tough time finding an Indy jacket that fits the way I want.

I've tried a lot of vendors, from the obvious choice, right to one of the most expensive. For no fault of their own, none really felt comfortable. after selling my latest jacket to a member of this forum, I had decided the Indy jacket ( specifically Raiders) just wasn't a jacket that was ever going to look good on me. The only one that ever looked the day I want for the most part was the Todd's standard small. That was also after I washed it and stretched the #### out of it.

That is when Diego approached me.. or did I approach him..I really can't remember, too much beer. At any rate, we got to talking and he seemed to understand my hipster perversion toward the Indy jacket. I liked the look of the Raiders, especially the collar, but I wanted a thin collar and one that suited me. Also I wanted the shoulders and arms to be more fitted, and the overall jacket to be more.. You know..

Anyway, long story short, here it is

Hope I did that right. if not, how do I post pics on this site, I always forget.

Thoughts?

Also want to say thanks to Diego and his team. Top notch customer service. This will be the last Raiders Jacket I ever buy. its perfect!

I just got my first Indy jacket from S&J (ToD) and It was the jacket I was hoping it was going to be. I don't see myself buying another jacket from someone because Diego nailed the jacket I wanted exactly. However If I did get the bug for another one from a different film then i would be going through S&J first.

That's the length I like in a jacket.

Easier to use if doing a lot of getting up and down out of chairs and in and out of cars. No ride up.

GREAT work! I totally approve! :M:

Oh, and not all of us " moustache sporting dudes" are 'hipsters'. ;)
