You're telling me! I've been looking at these jackets for about three years and as much as I love Raiders, there was no way I could justify spending so much. The Relic Hunter looks to me to be the best Raiders jacket made. Now saying that, my wife just surprised me last week...she ordered me one! Crazy!!! :rolling: Now I play the waiting game...

Great that you chose one of the best on the market to be your first! Be sure and take pics with it on you (we already have plenty of pics of them just hanging!).

Oooh, I'd be very interested to see your goatskin! I was about to order one about a month ago, but with the 2 month wait it was due to arrive around June - just in time to not be able to wear it here in Jersey for at least 2 months! So I figured I'd hold off and order it around June so it would hopefully arrive the end of August...

Awe man! I wanted to show off my hangers inside my closet! :P Of course I'll post up pics of me wearing it...what good are they if the BK is just hanging there? I know how it can be lurking in the shadows with no idea how to ask for more information on any item of gear. Thanks to all the information on this thread and others on the Indy jacket, I think I chose wisely...thanks COW members :TOH:
Btw post pics as well I want see what that goat BK looks like!

There will definitely be a review and pics of the goatskin Kelso when I receive it! I wanted something heavy duty for outdoor adventuring, and I think it will fit the bill nicely. I was quoted about 4 weeks, but that was back in early March, so I'm guessing it will be a little while longer. I went with OTR sizing, and am hoping for a good fit (sleeves might need some adjustment though).

I ordered my hh at the end of march. I sent a thank you and received an email saying that my server address had been flagged as spam.

I received an email from Any a little over two weeks ago, wanting me to confirm measurements.
I have, and have also sent a couple other emails asking if he got my reply, but now word.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, somewhat. With my order they quoted me one month, and were very quick to get me info on OTR measurements. That's the last I heard of them until this morning. I actually never received an order confirmation email. After about 6 or so weeks I sent an email requesting an update. (I wasn't in any rush, but just wanted to know how things were proceeding, half wanting to confirm they actually received my order!). I did expect the jacket to take two months or so, and it has. It seems communication with them has always been a bit spotty.

Ok I have the jacket in my hands! :rolling: First impression, you can see where the money went. If you guys have the funds, definitely buy this jacket! I'll post up pictures as soon as this weather clears up along with detailed measurements of myself to compare with the sizing of the BK. This jacket is awesome looks straight off the movie set...stolen from the wardrobe dept of Raiders. More details as soon as I can get my camera set up with better lighting indoors and out! The smell is intoxicating...so good

Sometimes don't get emails from certain @domains.

A full review with lots of pictures will be given soon, but for now, I have to say that this is pretty lightweight for goatskin! Once the break-in period is done, it should look outstanding. It was a little stiff when I first got it, but it's far more pliable now. Until I get it to my perfect break-in level though, it's getting crumpled and dropped everywhere. :#: I gained some weight due to a medical issue, so it's tight in the shoulders and body, but I'm slowly heading back down to my normal size, and my Kelso is a great motivator. \:D/

That's true, though I think some of that is the lighting. Its truest colour is found in the last picture (of the pocket flap). I'd call it dark brown, but it's not as dark as some; it might depend on your idea of 'dark'. If your idea of dark brown is Wested's authentic brown, then this is dark brown. If your idea of dark brown is G&B's dark brown (which is close to black), than this jacket would be medium brown. Sorry if that was hard to understand. #-o

Very nice, but hanging on a hanger just doesn't do this jacket justice. I'd love to pull the trigger on one of these, some day I will. [-o<
But it's not going to be based on pictures of jackets on a hanger. :CR:
So come on guy's don't be shy, either gear up and have some fun, or just in street close. Matters not to me. I just want to see them being worn. Especially yoursknibs7 yours looks awesome. =P~

Sorry I don't mean to sound like I'm on a soap box. I'm extremely jealous, trust me.

Photosss, FANTASTIC jacket!!! I can't wait to see it after it's been worn!! Congrats!

I just searched a bunch of photos for appearances of my BK's. So none of these photos actually "feature" the jacket, but anyways.
