I can't be more excited and satisfy about my wested LC jacket, I was ordered 42 for first time based on my chest size , but it runs small and tight in both chest and shoulder, also the leather is thin and light (I used to USW thick jackets). So I decided returned it and get 44, which cost me $75 to mail it back, but it all worth it, this time the jacket is thick and heavy (around 2kg), as you can see in the picture, it can almost stand by itself!

Never had that smell you're talking about when I bought mine back in 2011. It only had that very strong leather scent which faded away after a short period of time. Nevertheles, enjoy wearing this beauty. Looks great!
