And second, if I'd found it like that, I'd keep it as it is as a collector's piece or perhaps barter it to one of the hat collector types for something in your noggin size.

I'm not exactly sure what it would be worth but I am interested in purchasing it.

I know the guy login rarely, but I've replied within hours and didn't get any response.
I sent a PM, no reply.

I've been searching for vintage HJ for years, and bought many fedoras, homburg, etc.
This HJ is in very good condition.
The only problem is the size. Too small for most of people.

I think the value of it could be around U$D 90.- up to U$D 140.- approx.-

Hi Mutt,

Any chance you could re-post the photos of this hat with the bash pushed out and the close ups of the sweat band?

I find with this sort of thing the only way to find it's true price is to put it up for auction and see what people will pay for it! You can always put a reserve on.
