My Gunbelts and Bags (For all three films)

Post by Anduril »

Hi! I do a lot of leatherwork, so when it comes to the leather parts of my costumes I always make them myself and Indy is no exception ;)
So just finished throwing together all three versions of the Indy Rigs as I wanted to replace my original 1 1/2" Last Crusade Belt with a 1 1/4" belt after noticing it being the same width as the web belt and ended up making a Raiders and Temple of Doom too as I'm currently putting together those costume variants as well.
So here's what I came up with, before weathering of course! (They won't stay shiny long around me :P).

Raiders Rig:

Temple of Doom Rig:

I also noticed that the whip holders appear different across a couple of scenes so of course, for choice, made both! :P

Last Crusade Rig (Mk II ;) )

...And here's the Trilogy together:

Also, to finish off, I made the three bag straps for my original Mk VII bags. Scored a W&G that I'm using for Raiders and two H&Sons for the other two(Need to fade the Temple bag a bit as it's pretty green, though the other two are nicely faded already :D)

I've got more pics of the Gunbelts in my album here if people were interested in seeing more detail: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 692&type=3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I can already see a few bits and pieces I can improve on already if i remake them again, always picking up new things when I watch the movies, that's is the curse of costuming :lol:

Looking good. Whose buckle did you use for the Raiders strap?

The Raiders buckle is from Todd's Costumes, the other two as you can probably tell, are just standard roller buckles.

Thank you :)

I'd be happy to if there was enough interest from people :)

I'm thinking probably around $20aud when I get around to listing them on my Etsy. Not sure if I'm allowed to link it on here though or sell through here as I don't have vendor status.
