Warning! Wested Hem Danger!
So, I put on my Wested lamb, get behind the driver's seat in my car, and I feel a sharp stabbing in my back, like someone stuck me with a pin. I jumped up and felt the back of the seat. Nothing. What was that!?
Then, a few days later, I'm putting on the Wested, and I felt a stab in my thigh. What the heck is THIS now?!
I had had the same pain a few other times, too and couldn't figure out what had stabbed me. There was never anything there. But then I seemed to remember it always happened when wearing my Wested.
I felt around the jacket, and inside the hem of the bottom left side under the pocket, I felt a pin! The point had come though the leather. So, I poked it through, and pulled it out, leaving a little hole.
I then felt every hem on the jacket, and found TWO MORE PINS!
Someone left THREE PINS inside the hems around my jacket, and depending on how I moved, they would stab me.
OUCH!
So,
:!: Check your Wested jacket hems. All around the bottom and up and down the back flaps. :!:
I learned the hard way. Maybe I can save you a little pain (and blood).

This is new one. Pins in the jacket lining. What!
We do not use pins in leather production, in fact we do not even have any pins in the factory only leather machines and you would know it if you had one of them in a jacket. There is no radical explanation and I do not think that this is a major pin smuggling racket. Although just maybe the hand grenade was a dud and Bin Liner, now sacked for not shaving was the man who machined your jacket.
Cheers
Peter
