Looks great.....I especially love the way the pants, being the real deal, really match the entire outfit in terms of color, drape, and style. Especially the color match up with all the rest of the gear.

Fantastic! The hardest thing, in my opinion, is getting all the color tones to match up. They often look too stark in contrast, but yours has that muted look of the original, with the right amount of distressing... much like your Grail Diary. ;) :H:

I am trying to put a LC look together as well.

Long way to go to rival Holt's look & remember that the person wearing the gear is a big part of the look as well.

But any advice from yall would be appreciated.

Btw, I have a new LC jacket arriving tomorrow. Will post a few pictures with that jacket as well..

It has a few flaws on it. Less then I first thought it would have. Flaws like a hair taller pockets and back armseam not inswen like the temple of doom, and Facings!!! I HATE facings.. ah well. it adds to the life of the jacket so it's good I guess. Other then this it is a very nice LC. I am very curious about it..

I can tell you it's not based on the smithsonian LC jacket but the other Hero. The tad longer zepplin/beach jacket. Actually my favorite LC jacket.

Holt, would love to see some pics in the style of the "three challenges" when Indy recovers the grail. Some halloween spider webs, dirty gear, beat up, and clutching the diary for dear life. Would be awesome! You have LC dead to rights.

I am soon going to do a shoot by an old hydroelectric plant from the early 1900. Only 30 min away from where I live..

This is such a cool place and has such an LC vibe to it. I can just hear the Nazi typewriters and phone rings thru the windows.

The inside of this place really reminds me of the scene where Indy says..''Nazi's, I hate these guys'' in castle brunwald.

I had my Indy gear in the car and I took them out after the hike for some new pictures.

Thanks!

I understand why they are considered taboo around here. Thye are not very accurate.. I really lucked out with these.

Usually they have a really high waist. Or others have too tapered legs. Some are without pocket flaps, sometimes they come with only one pocket with a flap..

yeah, it pretty much is a needle in a stack..

Here is the back..

Thanks guys!

The colors are extremley important to get the look of the film. The colors need to go hand in hand and not single them selfs out. I think exactly the same when the grail diary. The aging colors are very important to get the look. I feel Magnoli really understands what I am about as he is an ''distressing'' guy himself.. we just love breaking down things.. ;)

Amazing. Great gear.

Your setting the bar high. Your gear is what I am shooting for, much less Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones.

I looked like crazy on ebay for some army pinks trousers and I found a few, but most all of them were a waist size of 30-32...can't even come close to that waist size any more.

I hit up 2 local Army surplus stores, one of which is huge, and found nothing even close.

Thanks man! Very much appreciated!

I think you have some awesome great gear as well! Looking forward to you showing it all off! :TOH:

I am waiting for the boots now. Should arrive next week. They have the perfect Raiders color..

In fact, I am building a new set of Raiders gear.. I hoping I can pull that one off as well.. and again, It's all in the color details. So I am searching..

As for pants? I definitley would give my friend Magnoli a ring. He makes the most SA Last crusade pants you can get your hands on and fully custom. It's worth the money! Trust me!

Yes, I have noticed Magnoli. Pricey, but look good on his website.

I just keep holding out for an authentic pair of pinks at that low army surplus / ebay cost. Having to pay $200 for a pair of pants that I can not even try on before....I just have problems with that.

So, since you mentioned him I will ask you a question about his website/pants.

What color do you pick to match LC as best as possible? He has many color options as I recall.

The waist size true to USA measurements?

And...do you get charged (being here in the USA and he in New Zealand..I believe) with a customs bill upon delivery?

I realize he is on the boards & I guess he would be the best to answer these questions, but your input would help as I don't think I have ever seen anyone on here with his version of LC style / color of trousers.

Oh yeah, one more question.

Shirt buttons LC. Are these good? What are the difference in 20 line vs 24 line?

You need different sizes for the buttons down the front of the shirt vs around the wrist don't you?

I didn't catch this one! When ordeirng pants from Mags he usually asks you to measure out a well fitting Indy pant. Like the Todd's you have! Measure the heck out of it and send the specs to him! As far as details go, The details are the best SA details for LC out there. Color? some swear to camel. I like it myself. You want soemthing khaki light and not grey brown like Raiders. Your best option is to pm Magnoli! He will be of help to all of your questions.. Don't let him age or distress you, as he will try. (don't tell him I said that)

Holt I love the shot of the Raider promo, spot on.
Now one question, do you have someone taking the pic's or are you doing the 10 second, run around and BAM pose like your in the middle of a scene.

This is one of the parts I love about this hobby, that and the awesome people.
Keep up the good work.

Here is why I find the officers pinks to be the perfect Last Crusade pants.

Indy's on the left and mine on the right. I hardly can spot a difference in the color, material and drape/thickness.
