Other replica choices

Post by ChrisMD »

For all members looking for a good holster filler, don't forget about Non-Guns, non firing replicas, and blank guns. Not many of these are the exact model, but sure better than some of the airsoft close enoughs. These will give you SA heft, and weight in your holster.

I didn't even think about checking WSP. I have stuff ordered from them in the past, and have always been very satisfied. GREAT find buddy! Looks like with that Smith we pretty much have it covered for Indy guns except for the Webley being the wrong model.

Slight word of caution with the WSP S&W, their molds must be getting old. My casting is OK, but not very clean.

Yeah, it was YEARS ago. As I recall, Lee Keppler supplied the original to them back in the mid 90's, and they've used it over and over ever since.

I've never heard of The Specialists Ltd, how much do their prices usually run? (I sent them an email, but haven't heard back.)

Not sure. After looking at their site I am hoping they aren't strictly for movie rentals such.

I have a connection to a Japanese prop gun warehouse that makes the Webley ( MK VI in .455 Ely/.45 sorry not the Green model yet) Indy's S&W .45 HE2 in 4" like Raiders or Colt M1917 or New Model in .45 all fire plug fire caps and use a brass screw apart faux bullet casing in which you install the caps. You can get them in high impact plastic or in metal, price ranges from $120.00- $300.0 depending plus shipping.
