A US Wings 30th Anniversary Antique Lambskin that I have distressed with sandpaper, acetone, leather dye and pecards.
Below is a Wested Antique Lambtouch as they call it. Distressed with a small bit of sandpaper and water only.
Below is a Wested Pre Distressed Cowhide. Distressed more with Pecards, sandpaper, water, acetone.

Thanks Holt....means a lot coming from your level of LC jackets.
That lambtouch is a size 48 & it fits ok...but a 44 Wested in HH also fits me better than any jacket I own.....Wested-those dang Brits!

Style-wise, US Wings has always had me sold for LC. But no matter what, cowhide jacket always seem to capture things just a little better in the distressing and drape.
LC "accuracy" aside, though, I have to second Holt's love of the Wings' undertones!

The US Wings didn't have that red rusty undertone to it when it was first scratched with sand paper. It had that typical light brown sanded tone that somewhat darkened with pecards. That light brown undertone changed when I hit it with the Fiebing's Light Brown leather dye then let it dry for several days and then another pecards treatment.
