My "travel" grey AdVintage Christy

Post by Okiebug71 »

Just wanted to post some pics of the "Clipper" fedora I recently ordered from AdVintage: http://www.advintagefedora.de/shop/prod ... dscdeui1s2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I ordered on April 4, sent them a note on April 7 inquiring about shipping from Germany to Atlanta, and it was on my doorstep April 25th. Not a bad turnaround.

And one in action:

I'd say if you were looking for a pretty inexpensive hat you could do a lot worse than this. We'll see how it holds up to a Georgia spring (which has been wetter than normal) and summer...

I will be interested to read how their reworked Christy fairs in rain.

Good looking hat! I checked out the Adventurer on AdVintage website. How is the felt, soft or stiff? You sport the hat well!
