Last crusade temple'ish with a slight raiders turn.

Post by Holt »

So I allways wanted to have a hat that could pass for a LC and a Temple with my favorite detail og all time, the turn. This hat has it all. The turn is very sligth but it's there. Just enough to give it character. I wanted a hat I could wear with LC gear and temple ( Which I have started to collect agian)

The hat is still damp, You can tell by the dark ribbon. This is my other federation.

(Btw, you might have noticed I took down my raiders thread. I discovered a serious flaw in detail that gave it a different look. Will post the new hat when it's finished. But for now this)

Feel free to give your most brutal opinion on it. :TOH:

I gotta be honest, I'm not seeing anything but a LC hat here. Don't get me wrong, it looks great, but I don't see anything "Temple" about it. :-k

Thanks!

Well, I had temple in my mind when bashing it. Does that count?

I like the overall look. And yes, for me anyway, the turn is what makes the whole thing cool.

If it was me I might tighten up the top of the front pinch and pull the front brim down a bit more, but that's just personal preference. It's a 10 out of 10 as it is. :TOH:

I can definitely see TOD in that hat. Especially the pinch.

Thanks!

I tightend the front pinch alittle more and ended up with this!

I am pretty happy!

Yep, that's what I think of for the Indy fedora. Nailed it!

Love the look of that hat. Reminds me of the hat worn in the LC promo stills with Harrison next to Sean Connery.

I've always been a fan of the hybrid Indy fedora, and I think you found an especially attractive and well-balanced variation. I do see the turn, just a bit, and I love that pinch!

I see the ToD suspension bridge hat in these photos, which is one of my favorites in the whole series. Nicely done! I seem to remember you being particularly skilled at recreating creases from specific scenes. :notworthy:
