Special jacket project.

Ok. So I have been out of the getting the most SA jacket out there to a particular film..

However, I do want another jacket. This time around I think I wanna have some fun.

I was thinking of putting together a Indy jacket with all my favorite features from all 4 films. Like a tribute jacket that would be MY jacket and not Indy's from Raiders. LC, tofd and CS.

Would be intersting to see the end result. This certainly would not give me the ''it doesn't look right from this angle, and that angle''

I also have allways been very interested in making my own ''stunt'' jacket. Something that the stunt guys could have worn.

I think it's a great concept in terms of getting a "Holt" jacket.

My fear is no vendor will ever be able to meet the specifics of all of your specs.

I already got that one: a Gibson and Barnes. Its got the best features of each jacket but improvements that make it better than a mere copy, like the way the side straps are mounted.

But I hear you. I'm not sure I'd deliberately go down that path as I wouldn't know what elements to pick and draw together. The KotCS is probably the most usable and best designed but I hated the pre-distressed leather and the pockets. Maybe that in goat with LC pockets.

I love everything about the CS jacket in the promo shot with the rugsack but it the film it looks JCPenny.

In the promo it looks like a jacket Indy would wear. Looks lived in and much darker in color.

Sounds like a great idea. I took that approach with a hat once. It was was my Raiders of the Last Crusade hat! I fully support making the gear your own, in all ways!

Ive thought about this as well. Cut of LC, color of CS, drape of Raiders, and um, same liner as TOD? Can you tell I'm not a jacket guru?

I'd pretty lost on designing my ultimate hybrid jacket. The things I like about each don't entirely work in combination. My best dart throw; A Raiders jacket, with LC symmetry and ToD length. Or maybe a ToD with Raiders pockets? Or...

This probably won't help much, but Indy Magnoli does offer a custom jacket option on his list of Leather jackets. Could try hooking up with him and asking about these features that you require

What details are you looking for? Mine would be a Hybrid TofD (wrinkled long sleeves and drape) with larger pockets.
