Question: Re: Leather Conditioner?????

Post by WConly »

I received an email today from US Wings regarding leather jacket repair, etc. In the 'body copy' they offer a free bottle/jar of Blackrock Leather ‘N’ Rich (Leather Condition) which they endorse for cleaning and maintaining leather jackets, et. all. Does anyone here know anything about this product? Does it work like Pecards? Does it water proof leather items, etc.? In other words -- how does it rate against other products, such as Pecards? Thanks for any an all feedback. Curious in Kansas: W>

I know David Hack has been a strong proponent of Blackrock for as long as I've known the man, but I've never personally seen or used it myself.

I'm a devoted Lexol fan for jackets, and wouldn't even consider using regular Pecard's that way.

No experience with Blackrock.

Thanks to both of you...just curious, as I use both Lexol and Pecard products, depending on the leather, in question and the results, I wish for said. Just curious about this one, as I had never heard of it prior to Wing's email on it. W>

I like to use leather lotion for lamb, and there many different makers including Wilsons, etc. Then there is Lexol and Picard.

Here is a recipe to make it yourself:
