For a KoTC whip...
How long a nail do I need for a handle to make one?

I think the handle is still 8" but I'm not sure that Jacka made them with a steel spike... I seem to remember him using a fiberglass rod. But not sure.

I believe he did use fiberglass rods. I am not sure what he does now...but I would use the spike.Unless you plan in binding the tranny like crazy to replicate hos work, then I wouldn't bother trying to copy the handle foundation. You should email him...in my expiriences he always responds and a usually timely manner.
