Tyrloch wrote:Indiego, as far as hide choices, can you also make a jacket with this ToD pattern using a slightly thicker cowhide? Or is this thinner hide the only option? I'm a big fan of the pattern, just not sure if I want a really thin leather jacket...
Yes, we have a couple of GREAT options in thicker cowhide.

UPDATE:

We've just ordered the last 18 black 2-claw trouser buckles, from the only source available. (BIG thanks to Indymassilia !!!!)
They told us it will be no re-stock.

Now we have to wait for the post service to deliver...

Kind regards.-

Leather clarification

This are the leathers available according to movie:

TEMPLE OF DOOM
1) Dark Brown thin cowhide DULL finish (the same as in Raiders' Texan Scott, but with a more accurate finish for a ToD jacket)
2) Dark Brown thin cowhide DULL finish, WITH screen-accurate hand made distressing (every single mark, scratch you on screen...but on your jacket! ToD perfect)
3) Brown thin cowhide PRE-distressed (the one on the ToD prototype pictures, 1st page, 1st post) -waiting for a re-batch-

(*) NO extra charge for screen-accurate distressing.

That would be mine!

I asked for mine to match the jacket in the village scene at the end of the film!

Can't wait!!

Nobody got the ToD jacket yet.
I need to finish a couple of tasks first:
* The buckles. Are in my town, at the costums office.
* Finish the previous Raiders jackets

I'll be posting pictures soon.-

ADVICE:
If you are considering order a ToD jacket from us, now is when.
Once we take the current orders to the workshop for assembly, the price for the next "run" will go up 10%.
Send me an e-mail for details.

Kind regards.-

The workshop should deliver the last 2 Raiders jackets we need, this week, then the ToD jackets will be sent for assembly, and I pressume will be ready for the week of the nov. 10th.
This is just my calculations on previous experience.

Once we finish this 4 ToD jackets batch, we'll be able to get the timeframe down to 30 days.
But, I need to adjust everything now to do that.

I'll post pictures of the first ToD jacket as soon as I get it.

We have the s.a. buckles.

Cheers.-
