I've been searching high and low for a decent replacement for my current pair of brown chinos. Most places are either sold out of pinks in my size (34 waist) or they're stupidly expensive. On a UK supplier to WW2 re-enactors, they were asking £120 for a pair.
I was looking at Wested Leather's package of shirts, jacket and trousers in my size. But, has anyone ever bought from them? if so, what are they like?

Re: Wested Leather shirts/trousers
I would love to buy a pair of Wested trousers, but for this: 'Leg unfinished 35"'
I need a 35" finished inseam, and there's no way I'd be able to put the proper military hem on them with that limitation so I'm stuck with just random tan-colored pants for my otherwise S/A gear. Frustrating.

Re: Wested Leather shirts/trousers
There are no shortage of reviews for the Wested shirts and trousers.
Personally I found the trousers to be too tapered, but that was a few years ago so the pattern may have changed.
In general, members seem to prefer the WPG shirt to the Wested. WPG has also just launched a new trouser that has gotten decent initial impression reviews.
As a point of note, though the Indy trousers were based on officer's pinks in terms of the type of material used, Indy trousers are pleated and cut baggier than the typical flat front, slimmer fitting true pinks.

Indiana Jeff

Stick with the jacket, the shirt is totally incorrect and pants fit better but color, pocket flaps, and hem are incorrect.

Re: Wested Leather shirts/trousers
I would disagree on the trousers, the fabric and colour are fantastic. Not the greyer colour that some perceive as the trouser colour, but I am not convinced that they were grey. They are ideal for ToD/LC colour.
The pockets are not a pointy in the middle as we would like and they come unhemmed, but that just allows you to get them made the right length locally.

Maybe TOD and LC, I stand corrected KT. I'm a Raiders guy so if it doesn't fit Raiders I'm not interested. I will say this the Wested pants are very comfortable as is the shirt although incorrect (my opinion).

Re: Wested Leather shirts/trousers
I was doing some pricing up. Wested's trousers would cost me £70 including postage within the UK. WPG trousers would end up costing me more in the range of about £130. Which would include shipping to the UK, plus relevant import tax and customs fees. AS much as people say that WPG trousers are good, it's stepping outside my price range.
The 5" unfinished hem, that's no problem, I know people in a fancy dress store that'd be more than willing to help me out and turn them up and maybe even help modify them into a military hem.
