I recently became interested in making whips and I decided to attempt to make one for my sisters birthday present.
I basically become obsessed with any new project and this was no different..so I did a LOT of research first lol

.

Black and Neon Purple 6' 16 plait..double diamond, into single, then into herringbone. Thong ending in 6 strand single diamond, 24" fall, 4 pass turks head.

How's it look?

Also I am making a 10' Chocolate Brown Indy style for my brothers birthday next.

I'm just wondering about strand lengths because the tapering on 10' has to be perfect.
