I think this will fit in here rather than on the prop replica forum. I've been keen on making some Indy related accessories that make sense. Well, I finally did it, and here they are, all tied to Last Crusade:

Zipper Pull/Fob:

Customize any zipper with this zipper pull. Cast in metal. Replaces the original zipper pull on any zipper, or you can use it with an existing zipper pull (You'll need a second jump ring). The cross can be painted in any color and sealed with clear resin . You can have the back of the fob engraved.
Fob is ca 1 1/4" long and 1/8" thick. Can be used as a key chain fob or similar.:

Tie Tack/Small Lapel Pin/Hat Pin

Look at the three small oval pins in the image. Cast in metal. Has one clutch back pin (Only one has it in the image). Pin lenght is 1/4" for thin fabrics or almost 1/2" for thicker fabrics. The cross can be left plain or painted in any color and sealed with clear resin.
Pin is 1/2" wide.

Wax Seal Signet Ring

The ring can be used as a wax seal ring to add some class to your correspondence and documents. Simply drip some sealing wax on the paper, then place the ring on the sealing wax. Wait 30 seconds, then remove the ring. Sealing wax comes in many colors, including red, blue, green, black, silver, gold, and bronze, and will go through the mail.
You can specify a high polish or brushed (satinized) finish. If you do not intend to use the ring as a signet ring, the cross can be colorized and sealed with resin.
Custom signet rings cost usually hundreds of dollars. Because I make the ring, like everything else, from beginning to finish myself, I can offer it for much less.
If you don't want to use the ring as a wax seal ring, the cross can be painted in any color and sealed. This ring is cast in white metal and looks like silver. Lead/nickel-free, non-blackening material. Very solid weight of almost 1 oz. If anyone is interested in a ring, I will send him a finger gauge and he can simply email me the required size.

Note the slightly asymmetrical design that ensures that the ring conforms well to the base of your finger. This is important with a relatively heavy ring like this.

I hope you enjoy looking at these things as much a I enjoy making them.

I'd have to say I'm not impressed because I'm used to everything you do being so darn good. Guess I'm starting to take your talents for granted.

Really, I am impressed. ;) Everything looks freakin fantastic. Great ideas.

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys and gals! Actually, the lady in the stationary store saw the ring when I bought a stick of sealing wax, and she wanted the ring, too.

No.
I was trying to think outside the box and to have some items that did tie in with Last Crusade. It makes sense that a secret organization like the Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword has seal rings and small pins as "secret handshake." The tie tack/hat pin wasn't my but someone else's idea. I can't remember whose idea it was without digging through all emails, but if he steps forward I'll send that guy a complimentary tie tack. The Brotherhood knights did have the larger cross pins and tatoos, but I think I'll pass on the tatoo.

I have a few people on a waiting list and I deliver to them one after the other. If I make a lighter or badge kit that nobody on the waiting list is waiting for, then I put that item on the COW Classifieds. I believe you said you wanted a #200 lighter, but you didn't say if you wanted the lighter or darker green clover. I simply don't know which one you want, so how can I make it for you? :?

Relic Raider, you truly are a very gifted individual.

I must say, these items that you have made are fantastic. I especially like the wax seals.

Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing more. :P

Scandinavia Jones, you might have to twist my arms or something. I'm wearing a real shirt only to weddings, funerals, and court appointments. In other words, I rarely wear a nice shirt, and I'm not sure what to do with cufflinks the other 364 days. :P

Here are few more pictures and comments:

Right now, I'm equipped to make rings from size 8 to 12.5, which should cover most men's ring sizes. The ring would be a tad large on a lady's hand anyway. In the two pictures below you can see a ring in size 12.5 (high polish) next to a size 8.5 (satin):

Image
I'm wearing two rings only for this demo!

A couple people have asked me in emails how the rings are made. Without going into detail, I will say the rings are cast, then they are sized with files, the proper jeweller's tool and a mallet, and finally the surface is being finished. I'm not a jeweller, but I have some engineering skills and knowldege of materials and tools, all of which helps. ;) In terms of sizing, I am using a professinal ring tool and the proper technique. If anyone is unclear about their ring size, I have ring gauges that I can send them. All ring gauges come with a SASE, as I'd like to get them back.

I hope some of you will find the following info regarding the use of the ring as a wax signet ring useful:

Basically, you melt some sealing wax, which really isn't wax but a colored natural tree resin, and drip it onto paper. Then you put a little oil on the signet ring's seal and carefully place the ring onto the soft wax. The ring is pretty massive and conducts heat well, so you can remove the ring from the wax within about 45 seconds. The wax shows now the seal with a raised cross. If you don't have oil handy, you can use an ink pad for a regular stamp to moisten the ring. That way you get actually a two-tone wax seal. You can for example use gold ink on black sealing wax.
If you want o make perfect looking seals, then you can make the seal before you actually need them. You can place an elastomer o-ring on a piece of aluminum foil or anti-stick foil and drip sealing wax into this make-shift mould. The press the seal in the wax. That way your seal will be perfectly round. You then simply lift the seal off and glue it onto your envelope, letter, or document. If you want o really go overboard, you can add a ribbon under your seal. Or you can put a seal over the strings that are used on scrolls.
You can find sealing wax in a variety of colors in stationary stores and online. It comes in sticks, some of them have a wick and you simply light the sealing wax candle to melt off some wax.

Miscellaneous pics:

By the way, I'm running out of web space and I'll have to delete some of the older images that I have posted on COW. I'm going to start with the IMCO lighter pictures to make more room.
