If you're in the market for a sweet Webley Mk-VI, check out the one at http://oldguns.net

A mere $550 separates this fine revolver from some lucky gearhead!!! :D

Careful of the spring breaking.

The one on mine broke not too long ago. I'll post a photo if I can remember to bring the camera home. The old spring can only take so much flexing.

EDIT: I added the photo of my Webley.

On the upside of the breaking spring syndrome, I often see vintage Webley parts being sold piecemeal on eBay from time to time, so a replacement spring wouldn't be entirely out of the question.

Actually, I've seen Webley Mk VI revolvers run the price range from $300 to $1500, depending upon the condition and who's selling it. Generally, they're pretty pricey, from what I've seen. bink

Not to knock the $1295 Webley, but mine is in MUCH better condition. It has 95% of the original bluing, and the barrel isn't corroded one iota. And get this: it only cost me $550 (however, it has been 45 ACP modified, unlike the one at collectorsfirearms, but that doesn't warrant the $1000+ price tag).
