Shrinking a Cabela's shirt?

Post by TheFedora »

I bought one of the Cabela's shirts, (stone color) that read as 'close enough' , but i misjudged the size, and turns out its about a size too big for me. (Large when I am Medium) Is there a way to safely shrink this shirt in a way that won't damage it? I don't really want to have to buy another one...

Thank you!

(also not sure if it should go in this section but this is where I thought it should go most likely)

I bought it from ebay so I am kind of worried about it. (I bought it from ebay because it was cheaper then the price on the website)

So I take it there is no way to shrink this shirt?

Edit: I found another thread on how to shrink a Todd's shirt, so can Cabela's shirts be treated the same way?

Mine are 35% cotton so there is a little room to shrink. Next time however I suggest saving up and just getting exactly what you want. The old saying goes "buy once cry once". Itll save you many headaches young padawan.

Cabela's shirts do tend to be cut generously.

They are well built shirts which is a good thing. The bad thing is it probably won't shink too much.

Agreed. It might not even be noticeable. If it is, it'll be only a little. Def not a whole size.

Usually, there is a return policy, if you are in that window? Or many times, if you contact the seller they will do exchanges. Much better than trying to shrink it. 2c here.
