No turning back now!

Post by Zoltar »

After a few years of wear the parts of my Wested Temple of Doom jacket that are showing signs of natural distressing have encouraged me to finally go for it and give it the full treatment. I'm using fine grade Scotch pads and 1200 grit sand paper so progress is incredibly slow so far. I'm using the Noel Howard jacket for reference and it's one beat up jacket so this could take some time!

As soon as I've got something worth looking at I'll post some progress pic's.

Wish me luck!

Authentic brown goat, I chose it because the belly was the closest I could find to the colour of the heavly distressed areas on the Noel Howard jacket and it's always been my intention to give this one ####!

None of the reference pictures I have show much of the sleeve detailing if anyone has anything that may be of use it would be much appreciated.

Made some progress last night, should get a few hours tonight too.

Got a couple more hours in last night, still happy with the results and not a stitch touched.
We've got a rare good weather forcast for the weekend so I plan on sitting outside and trying to get as much of this finished as I can, pictures will be taken!
