I don't own one so I can't vouch for the shirt itself, but I've purchased through this site quite a bit and their service is good.
A decent close-enough shirt in 'technical' material for hotter weather.

Thanks!
Just picked up a black one with short sleeves.
Not very "close enough", but, I need work shirts.

Re: Close-enough Shirts on Sale
Now I do own one of these. Bought one in OD green. The color is darker than I expected, I would call it more forest green than OD, but not a big deal for me. I do wonder how dark the tan would be. The material is comfortable to wear and despite being 58% cotton, 38% polyester and 4% spandex, it has a nice cotton feel. I haven't field tested it to see how the vents will work, but having owned similar vented shirts I think it will work very nicely.
Overall I really like it. I may have to pick up a second.

How is the fit? Are these pretty uniform-tapered, or large in the body? W>Indiana Jeff wrote:Now I do own one of these. Bought one in OD green. Re: Close-enough Shirts on Sale
Definitely not tapered. I wear a medium in shirts and the medium in this fits me, but it is cut a bit more generously. Not so much so I'd fit in a small or I feel like I'm wearing a tent, but it is looser than other mediums I own. The cut will be nice for being active outdoors and not feeling restricted.
Just another note I noticed, the website lists the fabric content as 86% Nylon, 14% Spandex, but the tag on my actual shirt lists as I did above. It definitely has a cotton feel which I prefer.

Re: Close-enough Shirts on Sale
Thanks Jeff. I was kind of afraid of this -- seems most field/safari-style, etc. shirts are cut quite roomy, which is not my preference, except for my older Tilly shirts which I primarily wear in warmer weather over t-shirts, unbuttoned. Thanks again. W>
