It does help :)

My next Fedora John I want blue on blue. I dont mean like BOOM Bam spirit blue hat, I am looking for a more midnight blue. Have you ever made a hat that color? o you have any felt that color? If so, what color Ribbon and bow do you recommend with it?

No, just don't always make the connection from member name to real name. Please send me a email to remind me of the request and you address. Would really help me out. Thanks.

Helpful life tip #29 - People you should avoid irritating:

1. People who can spit in your food before they give it to you.
2. People who can scratch or dent your car while parking or working on it.
3. People who can ruin your clothes while cleaning, repairing or making them.
4. People who have waiting lists for stuff you want.
5. People you are asking to do you a favor

John knows I kid around 8)

John your facebook Navy color looks more black and grey to me. It looks like the midnight blue color I was talking about. What color ribbon can you put with it, I am just curious and what would you recommend with it?

Indyjames, better I send you the swatches in the mail. I have a good stock of high quality vintage ribbon to choose from but would be wise to make sure of the felt color via felt samples first.

Chrismd, got the email, thank you. I'll send them out first thing Monday.

Just my two cents, but If, and this is a really BIG IF, were going to order in this colour, I would attach either a deep burgundy ribbon or a dark silver ribbon. But, again this is just me. I like both concepts, however I would lean towards the burgundy! The hat would truly be very rich in colour and with the beaver felt, it would be a real gem! Again, just my two cents on this idea. W>

I thought about it. At the moment I have a hat on order from steve delk but am already planning my next one, maybe for my 30th birthday here in 4 months. Anyway I am not much for burgundy lol. Silver is a maybe. I did see a Green/green beaver fedora floating around here and I think it was made by John. I dont want to be racist but the only way I can remember it is the hat was super beatufiul and worn by an asian kid. Again no racism here I just cant remember anything else. So that is where I got the idea for the blue/blue.
