Best Raiders Gunbelt These Days?

Post by Cajunkraut »

Since WE is no longer in the leathercraft business, who currently makes the best Raiders gunbelt?

I know about Todd's and lost-ark.net. Are there any other options? :-k

Sole Survivor Leather makes a similar belt. Good quality and made in the USA as opposed to China.

Thanks so far, guys.

I wasn't able to find any company named 'Make It Jones', and the Sole Survivor belt is...well...uh...not so Raiders.

It's a little tough to find. I had to search "make it jones" in quotes. Also the Norris Casual Belt from sole survivor isn't bad. A variety of color options and you can choose between brass or chrome buckles.

Close enough/screen reminiscent anyway.

Yeah, sorry about that. The one I linked to is more like the later films.

I think the buckle on their Lisbon belt is pretty close to the original other than the lack of a metal keeper.

Wade makes awesome gear of course, but I can also vouch for MakeItJones. I picked up one of his LC whip carriers back in July, and it's awesome! Also recently ordered a pair of bridle leather falls for my bullwhips, which appear to be Filson indestructible! :whip:

Hi - makeitjones here

using http://www.makeitjones.co.uk will re-direct you straight through to my website - hopefully that's a bit easier to remember and find.

Haven't updated my belts page with new stock but currently have a choice of very dark brown bridle leather, dark brown corrected grain, rich chocolate brown dyed-through and just bought a big shoulder of tooling leather for hand dyed belts and holsters.

Hope whipwarrior's falls are fitting the bill.

What are the specs? Is this just a custom belt, or an attempt at improving accuracy?

Custom measurements, choice of buckle, leather, and tip design. Omitted the attached whip holder, and requested the Chicago screws be changed to rivets.
