David Morgan Whip Value???

Post by Blake Bruning »

So, How much would a David Morgan Indiana Jones Bullwhip be worth? I know he retired, so does that increase the value of a used whip that he personal made? What if it was a never used whip of his and was just a decoration well taken care of and never been cracked before? Also, is there a way to date a David Morgan Whip? Or a way to tell that it was made by him and not just sold from his current supplier of his site?

An interesting question because of what I own here. Not looking to sell really - maybe when I get older and grizzled - but I have one Morgan whip at 10' from 1984 and one at 12' from 1987. Kept quite nice. Falls replaced twice on each.

More "collectors" pieces now. If I crack something I use the Jacka whip usually.

Except on Halloween. ;)

I'll try to get on it. Me, I come out here to wind down and kick it. Once I have to actually do something like take pictures I start to panic.

What a wuss, huh?!

But if I don't come up with it soon feel free to PM me with some kind of inappropriate assault to ignite my hair.

I can't figure out how to upload pic's...but if you email me at indyvictory@yahoo.com and LMK you want pic's of my David Morgan Whips and I will email you a few...and SEVERAL More if you want. I have 3 Morgan Whips...all 3 are 10'. 455 Series. They were all made by Morgan. Two have never been cracked! They were made between '91' and '95'. The other one is used and was made around '89'. These have been well treated and stored/ displayed for 20+ years. This is like finding not only the Cross of Coronado, but two! They are amazing. I am thinking about passing them along. I would like to sell one and would be willing to trade one for some strain whips...depending on the whips and how used. I may even do a partial trade. I would love a KOTCS Whip or any Joe Strain 8' Indiana Jones Model. I sold mine recently because I needed the $$$ and now am able to get another. Please feel fre to email me...or LMK how to upload. God B less. -Blake

And Blake..you are right..Michalangelo should certainly not have to paint the Mona Lisa over and over again. The original by Leonardo da Vinci is perfecty fine. ;)
