Indy boots!

Post by Basil »

So excited. Just picked up a pair of the Alden 403.

These were the last boots in my size so I was very lucky.

Now to just treat them with some Pecards and they are good to go.

One question though. I have both the cream and dressing. Which would be better to use on the boots.

Here's a pic of the beauties looking all new and just waiting for adventures.

I personally use the creme. Less beeswax.

Thanks for the tip.

I would love to make this into post your indy boots thread.
I'd love to see them Alden or otherwise. I'd love to see how everyone has aged theirs or if they've let them just age naturally.

I can almost grab 'em through my monitor . . . Just kidding! I'll be grabbing my own pair of replacement Alden's and hopefully receive it sometime in Sept.

Lol it's a good thing you can't grab them through the monitor!

Although I've been wearing these a lot lately so you'd have to peel them off my feet.

Nice indy boots. They look so shiny! What did you put on them?

I didn't put anything on them. This is how they looked brand new after one or two wears. They still look pretty good now after almost 2 months and 30 wears.

Very nice indeed! I just got some Pecards leather dressing and applied it to all my nice leather shoes and they look amazing after one coat! Really spruces up the shoes. Now my Todd's Indy boots look even better...
