Carrying a laptop in a Mk VII Bag

Post by Paladin3 »

The dimensions are :
Height: 0.11-0.68 inch (0.3-1.7 cm)
Width: 11.8 inches (30 cm)
Depth: 7.56 inches (19.2 cm)

Would I need to order a special sized bag, or will my laptop fit in the bag?

The problem with the real MKVII bags (and the reproductions) is that they have that vertical central divider, so you'd have to cut that out before anything sizable will fit in the bag. That... or you can get a custom bag as Nebraska suggests. ;)

That is what I was thinking, but I am not so sure I want to have a custom one made. I was just curious if that would fit, it usually goes into my old canvas bag just fine and I have a neoprene sleeve on it to prevent nasty bangs, but was curious. Thanks.

Most bags are about 11" square, but it'd probably squeeze in...
