Todd's 8 foot whip for the grandsons (PICS)

Post by lantzn »

I've owned my Jacka 10' CS for some time now and my grandsons (9 and 13) and some of our friend's children often struggle with its weight. It even wears me out after extended use, so I picked up an 8' Todd's whip to help the young ones learn and enjoy whip cracking better.
We took it out this weekend and within a fews hours the 9 year old was copying me with the over the head cracking. He's a natural with just about anything he does.
After using my Jacka the Todd's whip feels like nothing in my hand but it makes a great little crack for the price. I make my own crackers and swapped one with the one that came with the whip.
Lots of fun.

I was thinking of getting the mahogany/ burgandy but decided on getting the tan because the mahogany is already darker so would get really dark to black alot sooner then tan so I want the color longer.
